1.概述
Polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) is a non-toxic, tasteless, safe and reliable high barrier material。In addition to the general properties of plastics, it also has oil resistance, corrosion resistance, taste protection, excellent moisture resistance, mildew resistance, direct contact with food and other properties, but also has excellent printing performance, widely used in food, medicine, military and other fields。
2.Market demand and forecast
In developed countries, the packaging rate of food using PVDC reaches 80%-90%, while in China, India, Southeast Asia and other countries, the packaging rate of food using PVDC is only about 5%。In the next few years, the demand of China's PVDC flexible packaging market will grow at a rate of 10 times or even tens of times, and PVDC production and market development prospects are broad。
3.Production scheme
3.1 Production process overview
The main production routes of PVC in China are emulsion method and suspension method。Emulsion polymerization speed is fast, but the production cost is high, suspension polymerization speed is slow, but the product purity is high, the production cost is low。
3.2. Selection of process scheme
Suspension polymerization method was adopted in this project。The method is to mix VDC and VC with initiator, and carry out polymerization reaction under the action of dispersant。
